All calibrations are performed using HP Tuners VCM Suite via live in-vehicle street datalogging or remote file revisions.
Note on Licensing: HP Tuners software requires vehicle licensing credits ($49.99 each; most GM Gen IV ECMs require 2 credits, and 6L80 TCMs require 2 credits). Credits are billed at direct cost or provided by the customer via their own interface.
Naturally Aspirated Street Calibration — $450
Platform: Bolt-on, intake, header, or camshaft-upgraded Gen IV V8s (L76, LS3, LS2, 5.3L/6.0L/6.2L).
Includes: Pre-flight mechanical inspection, base idle airflow/spark configuration, MAF & VVE (Virtual Volumetric Efficiency) fuel curve correction via wideband logging, fan control temp adjustments, and full WOT safety sweeps.
Boosted / Forced-Induction Street Calibration — $650
Platform: LSA, Whipple, ProCharger, or mild turbo configurations.
Includes: Complete 2-bar/3-bar MAP sensor scaling, injector characterization data entry, boost-referenced spark timing curves, PE fueling targets, and transient fueling refinement.
6L80 Transmission Standalone Tune — $200 (or $125 when bundled with Engine Tune)
Shift point optimization (Part-throttle & WOT), torque converter clutch (TCC) slip/lockup tables, clutch fill pressure increases, and reduced flare/shift duration to preserve transmission hardware.
Remote Base Start File — $150
Safe startup calibration designed to allow first fire, heat cycling, and leak checking on freshly built or cam-swapped combinations before full street logging.
Requirement: Client must have an active interface and VCM Suite setup.
Full Remote Calibration & Revision Package (Software/Tuning Only) — $350
Includes base file delivery + up to 5 iterative datalog review cycles via email.
Requirement: Client owns an HP Tuners MPVI2+/3/4 device, compatible laptop, and wideband O2 sensor.
Turnkey Remote Tuning & Hardware Package (Includes MPVI4 Interface + 2 Credits) — $850
For clients who do not own an HP Tuners device.
Includes:
Brand-new HP Tuners MPVI4 OBD-II interface shipped to your door.
2 Universal Credits pre-loaded/provisioned to license your GM Gen IV ECM.
Complete base calibration file tailored to your engine specifications.
Up to 5 revision passes based on your recorded datalogs to finalize drivability, idle, and fueling.
Note: You keep the MPVI4 device permanently for future diagnostics, datalogging, and retuning. Additional credits (for TCM licensing or future vehicles) can be added as needed.
Datalog Review & Health Check — $75
Full diagnostic scan and 20-minute log review examining fuel trims (STFT/LTFT), knock retard, injector duty cycle, and sensor faults to determine why a vehicle is running poorly.
Technical Pre-Inspection / Abort Fee — $100
Applied if a vehicle is hooked up for calibration but fails the physical safety inspection (active fluid leaks, unsafe valvetrain, bad battery/charging system) and must be delayed.
